Thursday, November 09, 2006 (13:02:05) - Updates
It's been awhile since I've written in my blog on KD. I'm so used to writing in my other blogs hehe. Well as far as the job hunt goes, I found a seasonal job. I was hired on October 16th. I had training on November 4th and 5th. I feel that two days of training isn't enough. By the time I started my first day, I forgot everything I learned in training. My first day of work was on the 7th. I messed up so much on my first day. I felt so stupid because I was new and didn't even know what was going on. Customers asked me questions and I didn't know how to answer them because I wasn't acquainted with the store yet.

My second day of work was better. I don't think I messed up too bad. There were still some things that I didn't know how to do. Luckily there were other associates who helped me out. Thank goodness all the associates who have worked there for a long time were there. If I was only working with other new hires, I think I'd die lol. They may not be able to answer my questions. It might take me awhile to remember everything. Lately my thinking process is slowing down. Of course, as people age, their thinking process slows down.

Tuesday, September 05, 2006 (06:26:44) - Enough of that!
Ah... On August 30, 2006 I quit my job. I felt it was about time I did. When I first started, I thought I'd be able to stay a long time. As time went by, I found that I was going out of my mind! Laughing I kept saying to myself that I should stay at least 1 year. Boy was it hard! Every month as I worked toward that 1 year, I wanted to quit. I stuck it out until I reached my 1 year mark. *Sighs* I'm happy now that I am no longer doing relay, yet I am sad because I don't have a job. Oh well, at least I don't have those terrible headaches that I used to get from work anymore! Very Happy Now, I must hunt for a job again. Laughing

Tuesday, July 18, 2006 (19:52:00) - Wow... Time flies by...
Sometimes I'm stressed and sometimes I'm not. I try not to let things stress me out. That's easier said then done! Nowadays I've been busy working and going to school. I still find the time to come on KD. Smile I shouldn't have taken summer courses, knowing I'd be lazy! Laughing As always, there's so much to do and so little time. I've developed the habit of procrastination lately. Yes, it's a bad habit, but surprisingly I don't do bad at all when I procrastinate. It's weird haha. I'd rather get things done early though. Ah so many things have been happening...

My art class started on June 12th and on June 29th, my class went to some museums in San Francisco. My feet hurt from all the walking! I practically could not walk the next day. My legs were so sore!

On July 4th nothing much happened. I didn't go anywhere nor did I buy any fireworks.

On one of the days during the week of July 9-15, my friend Elizabeth had her baby girl. No one told me about it though. I read it on her blog at MySpace. I felt left out. She could've at least told me since I went to her baby shower. Sad

July 13th was the last day of my art class and July 17th was the start of my psychology class. I almost fell asleep in my art class on the last day! Jeez, what a way for a teacher to remember you! Laughing I hope it didn't hurt my grade. The class went by fast although it was boring. I'll see how this psychology class goes. So far, it seems like it would be a lot of work. I can handle it right?

Hmm... I wonder if anyone reads the blogs anymore. There haven't been much entries for awhile. I guess it's due to the navigation change? Oh well... I haven't written anything for awhile, so I thought I would. Very Happy

Monday, May 01, 2006 (20:09:37) - Baby Shower
Yesterday I went to my friend Elizabeth's baby shower. I felt so awkward being there. I've felt uncomfortable around people before, but at the baby shower, I really felt like I didn't belong even though it was my friend's baby shower. I've known her since 3rd grade. We didn't go to the same high school and didn't keep in touch often. Then in college we hardly see each other and hardly keep in touch either. I felt like such a stranger there. Neutral There were 4 other people there that I knew too, but I still felt uncomfortable. Out of those 4 people, 3 are my friends and 1 is my co-worker, but I hardly see or talk to them either. Hmm... Maybe I need to get out more! Or maybe I need to be more social! Laughing I guess it's because everyone's so busy with school and work that we hardly get to see each other. We don't even take the same courses. Well, we do take the same courses, just not at the same time.

The baby shower started at 1 pm. I told Elizabeth I'd leave at 3:30 pm. I actually wanted to leave earlier than I originally said, but I stayed for the sake of my friend. My other friend, Saroeun, was telling me I should have made an excuse to leave early. Laughing I figured since we haven't seen each other that much, the most I could do for her is stick around for a few hours. I actually ended up leaving the baby shower at 3:50 pm hehe. I was supposed to pick up my sister from work. That day she happend to get off work at 4 pm.

Everyone at the baby shower was cool, but there was this one girl who gave me a "You don't belong here" kind of look every time she glanced my way. I'm assuming all of them went to the same high school and since I went to a different one, I must have been considered an outsider to them. Oh well... It's done and over with. Very Happy

Friday, April 28, 2006 (19:33:50) - I passed my classes! Yippee!
I just checked my grades and I passed all of my classes from the spring semester! I'm so happy! All the hard work has paid off. I will be facing more challenges and in the next courses that I take. Wish me luck!
